What are Tags ,  Keywords & Adwords ? and why are they so important ?The definition of a keyword - any word used as the key to a code; Any word used in a reference work to link to other words or other information; A reserved word used to identify a specific command, function etc; Any word that occurs in a text more often than normal

We all want more viewers to our hubs / articles and websites or you tube videos and Keywords or tags play an important part in helping us achieve this.

When planning your hub you need to check out the Google keyword tool to see how many people are interested in your subject .

Hopefully you have a subject that people want to read ! I came across a hub on monkey urine & did a google search to see how many people researched monkey urine .

To my surprise 260 people had looked up this subject!

When I searched it on google there were

About 2,040,000 results (0.16 seconds) !

With the above photo there are 12 people who typed in " Katie Green in a bikini"

For the term Girl in a bikini there are 165,000 searches.

Model in a bikini brings in 90'000 searches.

We don't want to many or too few searches so as to be of help.

Just for the word bikini there are 11,100,000 11, Global monthly showing that the bikini is a very popular subject every month!

I noticed with my hub about Joining kooday I get people finding me as there is a lot less information on the new search engine kooday at the moment and have had over 600 viewers from kooday.com here !

This will change once it has launched very soon  and it will go up !

I check the stats to see what people have typed in to find me and it can be quite surprising as they write a whole sentence occasionally !

As I am trying to help others on hubpages  to get more viewers I will choose keywords and tags such as  

"Get more views" 12,100 look up this yet

"Get views " recieves 33,100 hits

use a "free keyword tool" ,

"how to choose keywords'

and so on so have a look for keywords that suit your hub!

How I use kooday to get views to my hubs .

I buy the keywords on kooday that I want to use that suit what I have just written & as I submit my hubs to kooday I link the chosen words to the hubs o when people type in the words on kooday on subjects they are looking for they find my hubs.

The great news is that I earn over $50 a week with kooday & when this new searchengine goes live my earnings each week as well as amount of viewers will increase !

Say you have decided to do a hub on knitting as you enjoy it & want to share it with others.

Your hub needs a picture at the top of the hub to attract attention as well as to make it more attractive to viewers as well as one or two more thru the hub.

See if you can find a short you tube video on the subject like this one " How to Knit " for a variatin from just you writing.

You might even include a pattern for something ,maybe a scarf.

Then you can use keywords like

and so on.

When you have finished the hub make sure you put it on twitter , face book , stumble upon and any more you can think of as well as using Ping my blog & Ping o ma tic as well as any other social network sites you come across in your search.

With Yahoo Answers if you answer a question that is relevant to one of your hubs then you are allowed to put a link to your hub which boosts your viewers.
